About Drunk Basket

Drunk Basket turns a basketball match into a contest of balance, momentum, and shot timing. The fighters' movements are deliberately unstable, so even reaching the ball can take attention. Once your character touches it, holding and releasing the assigned key controls the shot.

Play against the computer or share the keyboard with a friend. Court conditions can change, with low gravity, oversized balls, bouncy courts, and different hoop heights. Baskets and victories earn coins for cosmetic outfits in the shop.

How to Play Drunk Basket

Choose a match, get your fighter to the ball, and release a charged shot toward the hoop.

  1. Select a solo or two-player match and identify your assigned key.
  2. Watch the ball and use your fighter's movement and momentum to reach it.
  3. After touching the ball, hold your key to charge the throw.
  4. Release the key to launch the ball toward the hoop.
  5. React to rebounds, the opponent, and any change in court conditions as you try to score more baskets.

Controls & Timing

Contact starts the shot

Charging begins after the fighter touches the basketball. Once contact happens, the length of your hold affects the attempt. Watch the result and adjust your next hold rather than assuming the same timing fits every position.

Read the current court

Low gravity or a bouncy surface can change the way the ball and fighters move. A different hoop height also calls for a fresh look at the shot. Pay attention to the round's conditions before using the same timing that worked in the previous one.

Controls

Player Input Shooting action
Player 1 W Hold after ball contact to charge; release to throw.
Player 2 Up arrow Hold after ball contact to charge; release to throw.

High Score Tips

  1. Notice where contact happens. Your fighter's position relative to the hoop is useful information before charging the shot.
  2. Compare your hold times. If a shot travels too far or not far enough, adjust the next charge and watch the result.
  3. Look for rebounds. A missed basket can put the ball back into play, so follow its movement after every throw.
  4. Use your position defensively. Body blocking can help contest an opponent who is trying to reach or shoot the ball.
  5. Adapt to modifiers. Reconsider your timing when the court is bouncy, gravity is low, the ball is oversized, or the hoop height changes.
  6. Try solo practice. Use matches against the computer to become comfortable with contact and release timing before a shared game.
